50 ml London Dry gin (@beefeater is a great choice)
20 ml Lillet
20 ml fresh lemon juice
20 ml simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water dissolved into a syrup)
Shake with ice, strain.
Garnish with maraschino cherry
If you’re an A+ student you can mist the finished drink with absinthe, or do an absinthe rinse of the glass (pour in a teaspoon of absinthe, swirl in the glass then pour it out) then build your drink. Totally optional but brings out different notes to the drink.
